ABOUT RACHAEL LANGE

My love for photography is rooted in a deep appreciation for finding beauty in the world around me. I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things, and now, I find joy in capturing beautiful moments. Being outdoors feels like home to me—Mother Nature is the most exquisite subject, and photographing her, along with the people who inhabit her, is my greatest passion.

I believe my perspective carries a soft, feminine feel, and I strive to create images that feel organic and ethereal. I often blend portraiture with nature, incorporating double exposures or florals to create dreamy, nostalgic compositions.

My journey with film photography began in 2017 when I was modeling. Being photographed on film hundreds of times, I was captivated by its timeless, nostalgic quality—something digital could never quite replicate. I started keeping a film photo diary, shooting on disposable cameras, and over the years, that small habit evolved into a deeper artistic pursuit.

Today, I primarily shoot with 35mm, Super 8, and Polaroid, drawn to the unique texture and emotion each format brings. Through my lens, I aim to capture fleeting moments, turning them into lasting stories.
